Abstract

Preparation of Personnel Management of SMEs for Supporting Asian Economic Community (AEC) in Three Southern Border Provinces

This study aimed to 1) find out the relationship between the personnel management preparation and the expectations of those Small and Medium Enterprise owners, 2) forecast the personnel management preparation factors of those Small and Medium Enterprise owners. The total population of Small and Medium Enterprise in three southernmost provinces (Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat) was 1,595. A sampling method used was Taro Yamane which defined the exact number of samples 161 were from Pattani, 75 from Yala and 84 from Narathiwat. The total number for the sample group was 320. The questionnaire was used to collection data. Defined were analyzed by Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Regression. The finding result were 1) Holistically and dimensionally, the relationship between their personnel management preparation and their expectation in all dimensions was at the high level with its statistical significance at 0.001. and 2) The factors affecting their expectation, with its statistical significance at 0.001., were that the searching and selection personnel, personnel development, and discipline administration.
