The Effects of Cognitive Behavior Modification Program for Developing Self-Discipline and Self-Determination in Studying of Mathayomsuksa One Students at Mahavajiravudh Changwatsongkhla School
The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the Effects of Cognitive Behavior Modification Program for Developing Self-Discipline and Self-Determination in Studying of Mathayomsuksa One Students 2) to compare score results of Developing Self-Discipline and Self-Determination in Studying of students who participated in the Effects of Cognitive Behavior Modification Program with control group students. Samples were 50 Mathayomsuksa one students Mahavajiravudh Changwatsongkhla School in the second semester, academic year 2014. The cluster sampling was utilized. The instruments used in this research were: the Cognitive Behavior Modification Program, the Self-Discipline and Self-Determination Test and Student’s Self-Report. Mean, standard deviation, Paired – Sample t – test and Independent – Sample t – test were utilized for analyzing data.
The research results indicated that: 1) the posttest scores from the Test of the experimental group were higher than their pretest scores at .05 level of significance. 2) the posttest scores from the Test of the experimental group were higher than posttest scores of the control group at .05 level of significance.
