This research aimed to seek guidelines for entrepreneurs that affected success of automotive industry in Eastern Industrial Estate by using Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient Analysis among the sample. The sample included 1,000 employees in automotive industry. The data was derived from a survey 2015 collected through quota sampling in 4 provinces. The research tools were questionnaires. The results showed that the most significant management factor was staff and planning while the most influential environmental factor was
automotive shortage. Both factors affected management success of automotive industry entrepreneurs in Eastern Industrial Estate leading to effective cost reduction. In addition, companies had continual business growth rate, maintained market share in both domestic and international sectors and had increasing sales volume of automotive parts significantly. The research conducted in-depth interviews with people in automotive industry. The results revealed that the entrepreneurs should have pricing on automotive parts relevant to actual production cost and should have production plans enabling in-time delivery of automotive parts to production process so that this could prevent automotive shortage. Furthermore, the government
should promote automotive development in Thailand so it could be foundation of long-term Thai industry development.
