The Design and Development of a Constructivist Web–Based Learning Environment with Augmented Reality to Enhance Creative Thinking on the Topic of Medical Computer Graphic Design for Undergraduate Students

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to design and develop a constructivist web-based learning environment with augmented reality to enhance creative thinking on the topic of medical computer graphic design for medical education technology students. The target group consisted of 30 first year students of medical education technology from Khon Kaen University who took a medical computer graphic design course in academic year 2018 and five experts. The developmental research Type I was employed in three processes: 1) design process 2) development process and 3) evaluation process. The results revealed that design and development of web-based learning environment with augmented reality consisted of seven components: 1) problem base 2) resource 3) cognitive tool 4) creative thinking center 5) collaboration 6) scaffolding 7) coaching; It was also found that the effectiveness of the evaluation process had suitable quality in five dimensions: 1) product assessment, 2) contextual utilization assessment, 3) learner’s opinions assessment, 4) assessment of leaner’s cognitive ability, and 5) assessment of leaner’s achievement. And found that the efficiency evaluation results are reasonable in five aspects.
