An Innovative Model for Integrated Education Management of Municipal Schools under the Department of Local Administration

Abstract

This research objective was to develop an innovative model for integrated education management of municipal schools under the Department of Local Administration. This research has a mixed-methods research design. It was conducted in four phases: 1) data preparation, 2) data collection and analysis, 3) focus group interviews, and 4) developing a model. The research tools were interview form, open-ended questions and evaluation form. The data was collected from 3 sources including school administrators, professional of focus group and evaluators of the model.


The research results were as follows:
1. The best practices for integrated education management of municipal schools consisted of five main areas, and 14 subareas.
2. There are six elements of integrated education management of municipal schools.
3. The suitable innovative model for integrated education management of municipal schools is Model of Education Quality Management Excellent School: EQMES.
