“Bud Book” an Ancient Southern Thai Document

Abstract
This article aims to explore the contribution of “Bud Book”, an ancient document of Southern Thailand, ways of life in local communities. This article focuses on 1) the significance of Bud Book in terms of education, language, arts, public administration and beliefs, 2) its formats and script alphabet letters, 3) its types, 4) procedures for making Bud Book and a record of content, 5) its benefits and problems at present, 6) its preservation, and 7) conclusion.
