บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิชาการฉบับนี้เป็นการนำเสนอเกี่ยวกับหนังสือบุดเอกสารโบราณภาคใต้ที่ควรค่าต่อการศึกษา ประกอบด้วย 1) ความสำคัญของหนังสือบุดด้านการศึกษา ภาษา ศิลปกรรม การบริหารราชการแผ่นดินและความเชื่อ 2) คุณลักษณะของหนังสือบุดเกี่ยวกับรูปเล่มและตัวอักษรที่ใช้ 3) ประเภทของหนังสือบุด 4) กรรมวิธีการทำและการบันทึกเนื้อหาลงในหนังสือบุด 5) สภาพปัจจุบันในแง่ที่เป็นประโยชน์และปัญหาของหนังสือบุด 6) การอนุรักษ์หนังสือบุด 7) บทสรุป
