Abstract

The objectives of this study are to explore the elements of Phetchaburi food storytelling as the city of three flavors. It is qualitative research conducted using in-depth interviewing methods. The key informant interviews were conducted with eight people with expertise in work or research related to Phetchaburi's local food or tourism. The tool used to correct the data was a semi-structured interview and a voice recorder. The data were analyzed by thematic analysis to draw conclusions. The results indicated that the elements of Phetchaburi food storytelling, as the city of three flavors, consist of four elements. Elements 1: storytelling about the source of food, consisting of food safety, food ecosystems, and the story of a food tasting route. Elements 2: storytelling about the tales of raw local food ingredients from farmers markets. Elements 3: Inspirational food stories in dimensions of society, environment, and culture consisting of food heritage and the food landscape. Elements 4: The story of cooking methods and food creation consists of nutrition, which mentions the nutritional value of local raw materials and healthy food.
