บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา 1) คุณลักษณะผู้บริหารในศตวรรษที่ 21 ของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษานครศรีธรรมราช 2) การดำเนินงานระบบการดูแลช่วยเหลือนักเรียน 3) คุณลักษณะผู้บริหารในศตวรรษที่ 21 ที่ส่งผลต่อการดำเนินงานระบบการดูแลช่วยเหลือนักเรียน 4) แนวทางในการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะผู้บริหารในศตวรรษที่ 21 กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ การเก็บข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณ คือ ผู้อำนวยการสถานศึกษา จำนวน 52 คน ครูหัวหน้างานระบบการดูแลช่วยเหลือนักเรียน จำนวน 52 คน การเก็บข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ ใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจงจากสถานศึกษาที่ได้รับคัดเลือกรางวัลระบบการดูแลช่วยเหลือนักเรียน ได้แก่ ผู้อำนวยการสถานศึกษา จำนวน 3 คน เครื่องมือในการวิจัย คือแบบสอบถามและแบบสัมภาษณ์ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ร้อยละ ความถี่ ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน การถดถอยเชิงพหุคูณ และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาเชิงพรรณนา
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) คุณลักษณะผู้บริหารในศตวรรษที่ 21 โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก 2) การดำเนินงานระบบการดูแลช่วยเหลือนักเรียน โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก 3) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคุณลักษณะผู้บริหารในศตวรรษที่ 21 และการดำเนินงานระบบการดูแลช่วยเหลือนักเรียน ด้านการบริหารแบบมีส่วนร่วม การสร้างแรงบันดาลใจ และการมีวิสัยทัศน์ มีความสัมพันธ์กันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 สร้างเป็นสมการพยากรณ์ คือ y = .985(constant) + .383(X4) + .261(X5) + .139(X1) ให้ผลการพยากรณ์ในภาพรวมมีความถูกต้องได้ร้อยละ 79.50 4) แนวทางการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะผู้บริหารในศตวรรษที่ 21 คือ 1.วางเป้าหมายในการบริหารงานอย่างชัดเจน 2. มีความคิดริเริ่ม ปรับตัวทันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลง 3. ศึกษานวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยี 4. เปิดโอกาสให้บุคคลอื่นมีส่วนร่วม 5. สร้างบรรยากาศและแรงบันดาลใจที่ดีในการทำงาน
