Guidelines to Development of Academic Leadership in the New Normal Situation of School Administrators under Roi-Et Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

This research aimed to study: 1) the current states, desirable states, and needs, 2) the guidelines in the development of academic leadership in the New Normal situation of the school administrators under Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The research samples consisted of 320 school administrators and teachers as head of academic affairs. The research instruments contained the five-rating scaled questionnaires and the semi-structured interview form. The data analysis statistics were the percentage, mean, standard deviation, needs Index (PNI modified), and content analysis.
The research findings revealed that:
- The current state of the academic leadership in the New Normal situation of the school administrators under Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 indicated an overall moderate level. The desirable states of the academic leadership in the New Normal situation of the school administrators under Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 exposed overall at the highest level with the needs index (PNI modified) valued at 0.41
- The guidelines in the development of academic leadership in the New Normal situation of the school administrators under Roi-et Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 included 3 aspects, covering the aspects of curriculum development and teaching in the New Normal situation is to promote and control the organization’s operations in the new normal situation (New Normal) to achieve the set goals., personnel development of the academy in the New Normal situation is teachers are encouraged to conduct research studies to develop students and improve their own teaching to be consistent with the current situation., and the aspect of supervision and learning evaluation in the New Normal situation which there is a systematic evaluation of teachers’ teaching and learning arrangements and follow up on teachers’ teaching every semester.
