Administrative Factors Affecting Professional Learning Community in Schools under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the administrative factor levels and the professional learning community levels in schools, 2)to assess the relationship between the administrative factors and the professional learning community in schools, and 3)to predict the administrative factors affecting  professional learning community in the schools under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4. The research samples were 316 school administrators and teachers in the schools under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 4, calculated by Taro Yamane’s formula and selected by the multi-stage random sampling. The research instrument was the questionnaire with the reliability in the content of the professional learning community equaled 0.889 and the administrative factors valued at 0.968. This research findings were found that: 1) the administrative factors and the professional learning community level in schools implied in overall at the high level, 2) the relationship between the administrative factors and the professional learning community in schools revealed that all seven factors were positively correlated at the statistical significance of .01level, and 3) the administrative factors affecting the professional learning community in schools contained the factors of: leadership factor, organizational structure factor, learning technology factor and motivation factor respectively. This could predict the professional learning community in schools in 64.70% at the statistical significance of .01 level.
