Factors Affecting Sports Management of Local Government Organizations in Khon Kaen Province

Abstract

The objectives of the research were 1) to study general situation of sports management of the local government organizations, 2) to analyze factors affecting sports management of the local government organizations and 3) to compare factors affecting sports management of the local government organizations. The research was quantitative research method. The sample group included 212 administrators and sports officers of local government organizations. The instrument used in the research was the questionnaire.
The statistics used were mean, standard deviation, Two-ways MANOVA and Factor analysis.
The research results were found that general situation in sports management of the local government organizations in Khon Kaen province were personnel resources, followed by management, finance and budget. Factors affecting sports management of the local government organizations in Khon Kaen province consisted of facility management, followed by resource allocation, operational process control and human resource management. When comparing with the interaction of factors affecting sports management of the local government organizations found that managers of different age levels would differently manage sports, different departments would manage sports differently, and administrative authorities in different departments would have different sports management factors.
