Participatory Administration of School Administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the situation of participatory administration of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, 2) to compare opinions on the situation of participatory administration of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 classified by educational qualifications, position and experience under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample group used in this research consisted of 437 school administrators and teachers. The instrument used for collecting data was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire with reliability of the whole questionnaire at 0.91. The statistics used for analyzing data comprised frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The research results were found that: 1) Participatory administration of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, in overall, was rated at a high level, when considering each aspect, it was found at a high level in all aspects, arranging from highest to lowest as follows: commitment, independence on responsibility in implementation, goals and objective collaboration in objective determination and trust. 2) The results of the comparison on participatory administration of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 classified by status were found that different level of education and position had different opinions on participatory administration with statistical significance at .01 level, while there were no different opinions on the aspects of work experience.
