The Needs of Administrators’ Academic Leadership in the New Normal Era under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 5

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the current situation and the desirable conditions of academic leadership in new normal era, 2) to study the needs for academic leadership in new normal era of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 5. This research was a quantitative research. The sample size was determined by Taro Yamane's formula (Yamane, 1973) at sampling error level of 0.05. The sample group included administrators and teachers, with the total number of 337 people using stratified random sampling method. The research instrument was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used in data analysis comprised frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and PNI modified index.
The research results were found that: 1) The study results of the current situation and the desirable conditions of academic leadership in new normal era of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 5were found that the current situation, in overall, was rated at a high level, the desirable conditions, in overall, were rated at the highest level. 2) The study results of the needs for academic leadership in new normal era of school administrators under Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 5, arranged in order, were as follows: (1) the aspect of development and use of educational technology media, (2) the aspect of supervision of new model of teaching, (3) the aspect of learning evaluation, (4) the aspect of modern curriculum development, (5) the aspect of proactive learning and teaching management and 6) the aspect of challenging vision setting.
