Academic Affairs Administration Strategies for the 21st Century Professional Competency of Industrial Students in Educational Institutions under Institute of Vocational Education Northern Region 2

Abstract
The objectives of this study were: 1) to examine the current academic affairs administration 2) to investigate the 21st century professional competency of industrial students in construction program needed by business and public sectors; 3) to develop academic affairs administration strategies for educational institutions and 4) to evaluate the academic affairs administration strategies for educational institutions under Institute of Vocational Education Northern Region 2. The results showed that:1.The current circumstance of academic affairs administration of educational institutions, in overall, was rated at the high level. The individual items analysis showed that the item holding the highest mean was discipline section administration. 2.The 21st century professional competency of industrial students in construction program needed by business and public sectors, in overall, was rated at the high level. The individual aspects analysis showed that the aspect holding the highest mean was life skill. 3. The development of academic affairs administration strategies for educational institutions under discipline department for developing the 21st century professional competency of industrial students in construction program consisted of 5 key strategies. Strategy 1: Developing discipline section by participating with curriculum (SO) 2: Developing digital media and innovation for quality instructional management (ST) 3: Developing knowledge underlying the 21st century professional competency (ST) 4: Constructing systematic assessment and evaluation processes, promoting the use of evaluation results for improving instructional process 5: Developing educational supervision system by using efficient technology (WO).4The evaluation of academic affairs administration strategies in educational institutions under Institute of Vocational Education Northern Region 2 for developing the 21st century professional competency of industrial students in construction program in overall was rated at the high and highest level which meant the strategies were accurate, suitable and feasible.
