Development of the Thai literature learning management by applying reader response theory to development learning achievement of literature learning Thai language department Prathomsuksa 6

Abstract

     The purposes of this research were (1) to study the result of learning management by applying Thai literature reader response theory (2) to compare the learning achievement of literature learning of students prior to and after Thai literature learning management by using reader response theory (3) to study the opinion of students toward literature learning management by applying reader response theory. The sample group was the 19 students of Prathomsuksa 6/8 who were studying in the second semester of the academic year 2020 at Anuban Yasothon School, Yasothon Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The research instruments were  (1) lesson plan of Thai literature learning management by applying reader response theory Thai language department for Prathomsuksa 6 student (2) literature learning handout in topic Ramakien episode the Battle of Maiyarap Thai language department, Prathomsuksa 6 student (3) test of the learning achievement the literature, Thai language department, Prathomsuksa 6 (4) students’ opinion questionnaires toward Thai literature learning management by applying  reader response theory Thai language department Prathomsuksa 6 student. The data was analyzed by the learning achievement of literature obtained from Post-test using means (), standard deviation (S.D.) to compare with the given criterion. Analysis and Comparison of learning achievement of literature prior to and after learning Thai literature learning by applying reader response theory using means ( ), standard deviation (S.D.) to compare the learning achievement prior to and after learning using t–test dependent students’ opinion Analysis toward Thai literature learning by applying reader response theory with 5 levels of Rating Scale using means ( ), standard deviation (S.D.) finding the mean of the score to compare with given criterion

            The research results  were as follows: (1) The result of Thai literature learning by applying reader response theory was the learning achievement Thai literature of students equal 80.13 % quality level is excellent (2) Comparison of learning achievement after Thai literature learning by applying reader response theory is higher than prior to learning, with statistical significance at the level .05 (3) Students opinion toward Thai literature learning by applying reader response theory are at a high level.
