COST REDUCTION IN THE HAE KRUA TAN LANNA FESTICAL TO CREATE VALUE AND MEANING APPROPRIATE TO THE COMMUNITY BY THE ELDERLY GROUP AT BAN THA KHUA, BO HAE SUB DISTRICT MUEANG DISTRICT, LAMPANG PROVINCE

Abstract

               The objectives cost reduction research in the Hae Krua Tan Lanna festival to create value and meaning appropriate to the community by the elderly group at Ban Tha Khua, Bo Hae Sub District Mueang District, Lampang Province are: 1. To review expenses meaning: elements related to the Ban Tha Khua, Krua Than Lanna Parade Tradition 2. To study the change of the Tradition of the Khu Than Lanna Baan Tha Khua parade from the past to the present. And 3. To revive the traditions of Hae Krua Tan Lanna festival, Lanna Food Parade in a new meaning appropriate to the the present.
             This research is about tradition. The culture of Ban Tha Khua community is a tool to connect people in the community to create love and unity. With the traditions involved in Buddhism, namely the Khru Tan parade or the offering of Thai competitions Which is a tradition held by local people in the northern region or Lanna on the occasion of the village having an important festival. Such as a lottery ceremony, a celebration of churches, viharns, pavilions, or Permanent object that is the public benefit of the village. Villagers will take things consumer goods, materials, equipment, they will help each other think and create various forms brought to the temple in their own village or nearby villages. When time changes in each event , there is a high cost, knowledge, wisdom being diminished and replaced by new values which emphasizes convenience and speed but the role of community participation has gradually disappeared, and these issues have raised concerns for the elderly that mean if still maintaining the way of carrying on the tradition traditional culture and social contexts of people in the community must be change.
