LEARNING PROCESS AND CULTURAL REFINING IN ANCIENT SCRIPTURE OF LAMPANG TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION IN LAMPANG

Abstract

               The research report of Learning process and cultural refinement in the ancient scriptures of Lampang to educational institutions in Lampang Province aims to: 1) study the learning process according to the doctrines that appear in the ancient scriptures of Lampang, 2) study the process of cultural refinement that appear in the ancient scriptures of Lampang, 3) promote the learning process and cultural refinement in the ancient scriptures of Lampang to educational institutions in Lampang Province. This research is an action research that uses qualitative and quantitative method together for greater perfection.
              The research results found that Cultural refinement process according to the doctrine in ancient scriptures of Lampang was determined by 3 books; Wat Laihin’s Scripture and Wat Ban Look’s scripture which are the practice principles for cultural refinement that appear in Pamadhadhamma’s story, Sam pong Samkiew’s story, and the common story that used to teach the world. The essence of each content was connected to Buddhism principles and collected as a set of knowledge to promote learning and cultural refinement in ancient scriptures of Lampang to educational institutions in Lampang Province through activities such as praying, meditation, listening to lectures, asking-answering the three Dhamma issues, and summarizing ideas by participants.
