THE OPINION OF THE PEOPLE TOWARDS PUBLICB SERVICES OF KOAK NGAM MUNICIPAL SUBDISTRICT, BAN FANG DISTRICT, KHON KAEN PROVINCE

Abstract

              The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the personal factors of the respondents, 2) the opinion of the people to public services of Koak ngam Municipal Sub-district, Ban Fang district, Khonkaen province, and 3) the recommendations of the people to develop public services of Koak ngam Municipal Sub-district, Ban Fang district, Khon Kaen province. The researchers have used questionnaires to collect field data from 374 sampling respondents, and analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation statistics.
               The results were as follows: 1. There were 374 respondents. Majority percent, 61.76, were female respondents and 38.24 were male respondents. Most of the respondents, 24.33 percent, were age above 45 years old, and 28.07 percent of the respondents were graduated high school or vocational certificate. The respondents, 27.54 percent, were graduated primary school. The respondents, 47.86 percent, were farmer, and they (43.85 percent) have earned 10,001-20,000 bath a month.
               The overall opinion of the people towards public services of Koakngam municipal sub-district, Ban Fang district, Khon Kaen province was at a high mean level ( ̅ = 3.88). The were 3 suggestions from this study: 1) municipal should supply water for use in farming and expand electricity to the agricultural areas in every village in the responsible areas of Koakngam municipal Sub-district ,2 the municipal should build concrete road for every village and repair the roads thoroughly to response people's needs and convenience within district, 3) the municipal should develop electrical system and fixed the lights at various points in the villages in the responsibility of Koakngan municipal sub-district.
