MONKS’ ROLES IN THEIR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND ETHIC STUDIES IN SCHOOLS

Abstract

                Monks have played the important role in not only enhancing youth’s ethics, but also instructing both youth’s academic knowledge and morality. Thus, the principle of educational administration must be referred from both universal and national resources.
               In terms of the Dharmma principles, teaching moral lessons in schools like bothersome guidelines is vital for our country; moreover, youth’s good citizenship, academic services on Buddhist studies, mental protection, as well as well-mannered conducts are all needed for maintaining communities’ cultural preservation, and community leaders’ faith. The three major religion policies implemented for the development of monks’ roles are as the follows:
              1) Thinking well, saying well, doing well, as well as initializing good thinking are all supported for monks’ and other outsiders’ happiness;
              2) Having good academic knowledge and skillful performances: Having good academic knowledge refers to monks’ insightful theoretical concepts and accurate practices are identified; moreover, the skillful performances refer to monks’ practices can be all implicated for their good manners and moral awareness, and
              3) Monks must know the important role, they should do something in appropriate time and the right place: it refers to monks’ roles should be signified in addition. The setting goals refers to doing goodness, it should be geared towards, also behaving well refers to do something with the middle way based on the implementation of moral instruction related to Dharma doctrines, practices, and enlightenment attaining.
