THE COMMUNITY-BASED TREATMENT FOR INMATES USING GHARAVASSA-DHAMMA AS A FRAMEWORK

Abstract
Most inmates drug addicts have mental behaviors, emotional and psychological disabilities, lacking sense of purpose, lack of self-esteem, and low self-esteem. There are three types of drug addiction training:The group therapy model focuses on training by using group processes. Occupational therapy focuses on the practice of responsible behavior, and the creative behavioral modification of the past activities. The author has used the principles of Gharavassa-dhamma (good household life) as the framework that consists of sincerity, tolerance, patience and sacrifice. Observing the behavior of inmates participating in community therapy activities found that most of them have adopted the principles of secularism, sincerity, tolerance and sacrifice .In terms of therapist group, the therapy work, and behavioral modification that make their life clear purpose, and higher confidence in themselves, more self-esteems, harmonious, good teamwork and appropriate practice with the social context.
