THE GUIDELINE FOR ENHANCING THE DISCIPLINE OF TRAINING CENTER OF PROVINCIAL POLICE REGION 5’S POLICE TRAINEES

Abstract

              The purposes of this study, entitled “Guidelines for Empowering Police Trainees’ Disciplines at Training Center of Provincial Police Region 5”, aimed to investigate the police trainees’ disciplines, as well as   of the trainees; to explore the level of the police trainees’ disciplines, as well as guidelines for strengthening the police trainees’ disciplines. For data collection, the samples were 154 police trainees studying in the year of 2017.

              The results of the study revealed that the police trainees’ disciplines found in Training Center of Provincial Police Region 5, with its mean of 4.52, were all rated at a highest level in terms of their self-obligation with its mean of 4.61, and followed by their stricter regulations with its mean of 4.43. 

              Also, it was suggested that in terms of their regulations of Training Center of Provincial Police Region 5, additional external activities were provided for their police trainees’ unity, self-esteem, and institutional fondness. Moreover, spending their length of practice at 16.00 p.m., and running time at 17.00 p.m. were needed. Also, their length of practice and study should be scheduled, and their self-responsibilities and regulations for the police trainees’ punishment should be set up.
