Abstract

This article aims to present the role of monks in participating in forest and wildlife conservation. which the forest is a collection of important natural resources It is the origin of various rivers, thus affecting various environmental resources. The forest is therefore a valuable resource to be preserved in its original state. which at present environmental problems Caused by population growth (Population growth) as more people, the need to consume more resources. Whether it is food, housing, energy, and is caused by economic expansion and technological advances. Economic prosperity has also made living standards high. Resources are consumed beyond the basic necessities of life. More energy is needed. It is therefore important to educate Buddhists about natural resources, environment and disasters. including drought, global warming, floods, windstorms, polluted water, overflowing garbage, and reduced forest areas. In order for people to know and participate in solving drought problems, waste management, waste water, conservation of soil, water, forests and increasing green areas. especially monks in Thai society The concept of conservation of natural resources and the environment has been applied to social activities such as forest ordination, watershed forest conservation, community forest, and forgiveness. Buddhist Park area, etc., to join in solving environmental problems that occur in Thai society.
