Abstract

The goals of this study were to: 1) investigate potential components for Creative Industry Village tourism executives, 2) develop a conceptual model for Creative Industry Village tourism executives, and 3) create an instruction manual for developing a potential model for Creative Industry Village tourism executives. This study was conducted utilizing Delphi Technique and mixed-methods research methodology, combining two different portions as follows; Part I concentrated on qualitative research technique, which included in-depth interviews and focus groups. Twenty-three tourism experts, including community tourism specialists, academics, homestay entrepreneurs, and successful Creative Industry Village executives, participated in an in-depth interview. Furthermore, content analysis was used to examine the qualitative data. The quantitative research methodology was covered in the second part. The information was gathered from those key informants using a five-point scale questionnaire. The data was also evaluated using the following statistics: percentile, median, interquartile, and mode.

According to the findings, there were a total of six possible components, which were classified into three groups: Part I: Creative community tourism management, which consists of 1) organizational management and 2) human resource management, Part II: Executive omniscience and attribute, which consists of 1) community context knowledge and 2) creative leadership, and Part III: Community networking integration, which consists of 1) coordination and networking management and 2) community participation. These six components were designed as a possible model for Creative Industry Village tourism executives, and they were unanimously voted as appropriate in a focus-group discussion. As a result, an instruction manual was prepared to construct a prospective model for Creative Industry Village tourist executives, which was highly suitable for practical application by five experts.
