Enhancement on Buddhist Ethics for Politicians

Abstract
In the development of the country, the most important thing is that politicians are ethical. At present, Thai society has become a materialist society as people lack Buddhist ethics, aiming to seek benefits without considering morality and ethics. Lack of political ethics is one of the main problems that cause social chaos. Political leaders are one of the things that are important to the development of the country as it affects people to live together in peace. If political leaders lack political morality and ethics, they often cause problems in various forms in society.
Buddhist ethics for political leaders is one approach that can be used to solve ethical problems for political leaders very well because it is a principle that is related to the principles of public administration that will help strengthen executives, politicians, and people regardless of their profession, have morality in their mind. In this article, the author would like to present important points as follows: the meaning of Buddhist ethics for political leaders, role and importance of religion in society, Buddhist ethics for political leaders including Four Sublime States of Mind, Iddhipada 4 and The Principle of Good and the Enhancement on Buddhist ethics for politicians.
