Abstract

The three main goals of this research are to: 1) examine the existing body of knowledge and the method for developing a temple, community museum, and community management in Lanna; 2) create the temple, community museum, and community electronic system in Lanna; and 3) construct a prototype of the temple, community museum, and community electronic system in Lanna. In this study, participatory action research was mixed with documentary research and action research. The sample group consists of three Lanna temples and community museums, with the population being Lanna's temples and communities.


As a consequence of the research, 1) we have learned how to operate museums in temples and communities that have joined the three model networks, 2) As a result of the growth of the community museum and temple, the involvement in modernizing all 90 artifacts housed there so that they are known to both the community and the temple via electronic systems, and 3) there are three modeled temples and community museums located in Lanna which are Wat Nam Cham Museum, Wat Ban Tom Museum, and Wat Ban Kong Museum.
