Abstract
The goal of the case study on the Chan Chawa Community Network on Historical Capital Management at Wat Pa Mak Nor in the Chan Chawa sub-district of Mae Chan District, Chiang Rai Province, is to investigate the area's local legends and historical landscape. In line with the project to advance economic and social foundations after COVID with BCG economy, it is also to determine historical capital from the community network in Chan Chawa sub-district, specifically; monks, academic staff from the University of Phayao, and the people of Chan Chawa sub-district.
According to the study, the legendary cities of "Wiang Nong Lom" and "Yonok Nakhon" have a long history in the Wat Pa Mak No, Chan Chawa subdistrict. According to the Singhonwat tradition, this location is close to Chiang Saen District. These historical capitals were among the evidence discovered; they include1) Weighted and stone tools from antiquity; 2) Phra Viharn, 3) the main Buddha statue in the first-subduing-position, 4) Phra That Yonok Nakhon and Nam Thip sacred pond, 5) Chao Ya Bua Khiao temple, 6) Phaya Pluak termit hall, 7) five-eyed mantles, 8) Phra Chao Tanjai Pavilion, and 9) a replica of the Buddha's footprint. In order to manage sustainable historical tourism, it may be concluded that the nine historical capitals of Wat Pa Mak Nor that were jointly investigated by the Chan Chawa community network above could be applied to additional historical capital studies of other community networks, including local leaders and cultural leaders.
