SOCIAL SCIENCE STUDENTS’ MORAL SUPPORT AND MOTIVATION IN STUDYING IN COVID 19 SITUATION PANDEMIC, MAHAMAKUT BUDDHIST UNIVERSITY ISAN CAMPUS

Abstract
This research has the objectives to study; 1) personal factors of the students in Faculty of Social Sciences, Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan Campus, 2) level of moral support and motivation in studying of the students in the faculty of social sciences, Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan Campus inn covid 19 situation pandemic and 3) the suggestion to encourage moral support and motivation in studying of the students in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan Campus in covid 19 situation pandemic. The Sampling population was 124 students from the Faculty of social science, and the researcher used mixed - methodologies to study by using statistics, percentage, mean, and standard deviation to analyze from the questionnaires and used data analysis from the interview.
The results were as follows;
- There were 124 sampling respondents. Most of the respondents, 71.80 percent, were female, and 28.20 percent were male. For the family income, 32.30 percent earned between 5,000-10,00 bath/month and 79.80 percent were age between 20- 25 years old. 31.50 percent were studying in the 1st years.
- The overall Social Science students’ moral support and motivation in studying Mahamakut Buddhist University Isan campus in covid 19 situation pandemic was at high mean level (x̄=3.94). While considering in each aspect, it was found that the aspect of family was at highest mean level followed by the aspect of way of life(x̄=3.70), and education (x̄=3.61) respectively.
- There were suggestions from this study; 1 the university should procure proper and sufficient educational tools for online learning system for the students, and 2) the university should inform to students’ families about online learning because most of parents thought that it was not learning process.
