EFFICIENCY OF DISASTER PREVENTION AND MITIGATION OF BANG DUA SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, MUEANG PATHUM THANI DISTRICT, PATHUM THANI PROVINCE

Abstract
The objectives of this research were (1) to study the efficiency of disaster prevention and mitigation of Bang Dua Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province, (2) to study problems and obstacles in the efficiency disaster prevention and mitigation operations of local government organizations., and (3) the guidelines for the development of the efficiency disaster prevention and mitigation of Bang Dua Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province.
The research was quantitative. The sample used in this study was 120 people, namely: Bang Dua Municipality Administrators. Bang Dua Municipality Council, Municipal worker, permanent employees and hired employees and people in Bang Dua Subdistrict Municipality, by using the Taro Yamane formula. The tools used to collect data were questionnaires. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, t-test, F-test.
The results found that: 1) the efficiency of disaster prevention and mitigation of Bang Dua Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province, overall level was was at a moderate level, there were effective processes and procedures for disaster prevention and mitigation services, save resources and finish on time., (2) the problems and obstacles on the efficiency of disaster prevention and mitigation of Bang Dua Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province., and 3) the development guidelines for disaster prevention and mitigation of Bang Dua Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Pathum Thani District, Pathum Thani Province, overall level, was at a moderate level, namely: the development of disaster prevention and mitigation service personnel, followed by the development of the quality of disaster prevention and mitigation services and development of service processes and procedures.
