MOTIVATION FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF POLICE OFFICERS, MUEANG SAMUT PRAKAN PROVINCIAL POLICE STATION, MUEANG SAMUT PRAKAN DISTRICT, SAMUT PRAKAN PROVINCE

Abstract
The objectives of this research were (1) to study the motivation for the performance of police officers, Muang Samut Prakan Provincial Police Station, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province, (2) to compare the motivation for the performance of police officers, Muang Samut Prakan Provincial Police Station, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province, and (3) to study the suggestions about the motivation for the performance of police officers, Muang Samut Prakan Provincial Police Station, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province.
This research was quantitative. The population used in this study was police officers, Muang Samut Prakan Provincial Police Station totaling 90officers. The researcher used all of the population as a sample in this study. The tools used to collect data were questionnaires and statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean, standard deviation, frequency distribution and F-test.
The results found that (1) the motivation for the performance of police officers, Muang Samut Prakan Provincial Police Station, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province, overall, the image was at a high level, and (2) the comparison of the motivation for the performance of police officers, Muang Samut Prakan Provincial Police Station, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province with different levels of rank and work lines, it was found that overall and in each aspect were different statistically significant at the .05 level, and (3) the suggestion about the motivation for the performance of police officers, Muang Samut Prakan Provincial Police Station, Mueang Samut Prakan District, Samut Prakan Province found that salary should be increased, accepted opinions, opened exam for promotion, provided facilities in duty. The operating policy was clear. Merit with justice and equality was considered. Provide a resting area and should encourage and support scholarships.
