Municipal Secondary Schools Management and the Results of Operation under Samut Sakhon Educational Service Area Office1

Abstract

The purposes of the study were 1) to study the management of municipal secondary schools, 2) to study the results of operation of municipal secondary schools under Samut Sakhon Educational Service Area Office 1 and 3) to study the relation between the management and the results of operation of municipal secondary schools. The study samples were 248 teachers in municipal secondary schools.  The instrument used for collecting the data was a questionnaire with five rating scale. The  reliability of a whole questionnaire is 0.98. The statistics used for analyzing the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The findings of the study were as follows: 1) the management of municipal secondary schools was in ‘very much’ level as a whole. An finance management was the highest, the next best thing was the Organization. 2) Sakhon as a whole were at highest level, and all aspect were highest. An Organization was highest, the next best thing was budget management and the low personnel management. 3) The relation found that there was a very high positive relation and the same direction (.929) and the level of significance is .01.
