The Development of an Internal Supervision Model in Accordance with the School Context for Improving Educational Quality at Srakrachomsophonpittaya School

The purposes of this research are to study the trends of a supervision model in accordance with the school context using the EDFR technique and to synthesize a supervision model that is compatible with the context of Srakrachomsophonpittaya School by evaluating the model and assessing its feasibility and usefulness. The target population consisted of (1) an expert group of 15 people, and (2) a group of 10 stakeholders who participated in the discussion group. The instruments used to collect the research data were interviews with specialists and two sets of questionnaires on the trends of the supervision model. The statistics used were the median and the interquartile range between Q3 and Q1.
The research results showed that: 1) the trend of a supervision model consisted of 8 aspects, namely, (1) the analysis of the need for internal supervision, (2) building knowledge, understanding, and awareness, (3) the development of working skills in groups, (4) the improvement of professional experience and demonstration of teaching, (5) the exchange of ideas and knowledge in a professional learning community, (6) curriculum development, (7) classroom action research, and (8) the follow-up of the whole process. 2) A supervision model, named "KRACHOM S MODEL," consisted of seven parts: (1) Knowledge, (2) Reciprocity, (3) Active Learning, (4) 21st Century Skills, (5) Heartiness, (6) Oneness, and (7) Management. The examination of the supervision model reveals that the model is appropriate, feasible, and has the same composition as those established by experts.
