การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษารูปแบบการอบรมเลี้ยงดูเด็กปฐมวัยของพ่อแม่เจเนอเรชันวาย และเจเนอเรชันแซด 2) เปรียบเทียบรูปแบบของการอบรมเลี้ยงดูเด็กปฐมวัยของพ่อแม่เจเนอเรชันวาย และเจเนอเรชันแซด ในจังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ พ่อหรือแม่ที่เกิดช่วงระหว่าง พ.ศ. 2528 –2557 อาศัยในจังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ และทำหน้าที่เป็นผู้เลี้ยงดูหลักของเด็กวัย 3-6 ปี กำหนดขนาดกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้โปรแกรมสำเร็จรูป G* Power จำนวน 210 คน แบ่งเป็นพ่อแม่เจเนอเรชันวาย และพ่อแม่เจเนอเรชันแซด กลุ่มละ 105 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถามรูปแบบการอบรมเลี้ยงดูเด็กปฐมวัย วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยคะแนนมาตรฐาน (z-score) การหาค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าร้อยละ และการทดสอบค่าที
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า 1) พ่อแม่เจเนอเรชันวายส่วนใหญ่มีรูปแบบการอบรมเลี้ยงดูแบบเอาใจใส่มากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 66.67 รองลงมา คือ แบบประชาธิปไตย คิดเป็นร้อยละ 30.48 ส่วนพ่อแม่เจเนอเรชันแซด ส่วนใหญ่มีรูปแบบการอบรมเลี้ยงดูแบบควบคุมมากที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 23.80 รองลงมา คือ แบบประชาธิปไตย คิดเป็นร้อยละ 20.95 2) รูปแบบการอบรมเลี้ยงดูเด็กปฐมวัยของพ่อแม่เจเนอเรชันวาย และเจเนอเรชันแซด ในจังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
