Development of a Learning Resource Databank to Promote Career Literacy on Learning Areas for Lower Secondary Level Students

Abstract

This study aims to develop of a learning resource databank to promote career literacy on learning areas for lower secondary level students, and to evaluate the quality of a learning resource databank to promote career literacy on learning areas for lower secondary level students. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling and consisted of 35 curriculum and instruction experts and 5 technology experts. The research instruments included a quality assessment form for the learning resource databank to promote career literacy on learning areas for lower secondary level students. and a website development quality assessment form.

The findings revealed that the development of a learning resource databank to promote career literacy on learning areas for lower secondary level students, accessible at https://maxnumtrirut.wixsite.com/trirat-pokasang, and the quality evaluation of the databank, specifically in terms of its alignment with career literacy learning plans, showed that out of 35 lesson plans, 32 were aligned while 3 were not. Additionally, the website development quality was rated at the highest level, with an average score of 4.50. These findings suggest that a well-developed career literacy learning resource databank serves as a valuable tool for educators and interested individuals in facilitating effective learning experiences.
