Relationship between Transformational Leadership of School Administrators and Administration of the moderate class more knowledge Project in secondary schools in Samutsakhon Province

Abstract

This research studied transformational leadership of school administrators in secondary schools in Samutsakhon Province, administration of the moderate class more knowledge project in those secondary schools, and a relationship between the two mentioned variables. The sample was comprised of 11 school administrators and 246 teachers in Samutsakhon Province. In total, 257 respondents participated in the survey. Instruments used for data collection were a five-point scale questionnaire and a semi-structured interview guide. Statistics used for data analyses included Mean, Standard Deviation, and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient. Qualitative in terview data were analyzed by Thematic Analysis. The research revealed that the level of transformational leadership of school administrators in Samutsakhon Province was at high level. Considering each aspect, individual consideration aspect occupied the highest Mean, while the lowest Mean was founded in idealized influence aspect. Both of them were at the high level. As for the administration of the Moderate Class MoreKnowledge Project, the overall Mean was at high level. Considering each aspect, implementation aspect occupied the highest Mean, at a high level while the lowest corresponding figure was quality control aspect, but was also at high level. Furthermore, the research demonstrated a high-level positive correlation between the transformational leadership of school administrators and the administration of the Moderate Class More Knowledge Project in Samutsakhon Province at the .01 statistically significant level. The highest score of correlation coefficient was founded on the relationship between the individual consideration aspect and the administration of the Moderate Class More Knowledge Project. These findings suggested that the school administrators should enhance and develop transformational leadership in terms of the individual consideration aspect for effective implementation of the Moderate Class More Knowledge Project.
