Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare preschool children’s  Analytical thinking scores before and after attained in pattern and relationship activities related to objects, pictures and language.

The target group in this study consisted of 22 boy and girl preschool children ranging in age between 5-6 years old who were studying in kindergarten level 3/1 in second semester of 2018 academic year at Anuban Chondaen school under the Phetchabun Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The instruments used in this study were 8 lesson plans of pattern and relationship activities related to objects, pictures and language and assessment form of analytical thinking skills. The data were analyzed by means, standard deviation and content analysis.

The results of this study indicated that children who participated in pattern and relationship activities related to objects, pictures and language had post-test analytical skills scores higher than pre-test scores both overall aspects and each aspect, consisting of classification, finding relationship, Reasoning And the conclusion.
