A Model of Learning Networks Development with Media Production Process in the Southern Border Provinces of Thailand

This research was objective to study a pattern of learning networks development with media production process. The study was held in the three provinces of the southern border provinces of Thailand; Pattanee, Yala, and Narathi was by using participatory action research methodology. The sample groups were the instructors and students from the academic institutes that voluntarily participated to the network. The study had been completed within 3 cycles of participatory action research. The result of the research were as followings; patterns of learning networks development with media production process was an established network which was an activity-oriented network. The objective of the network was to develop learning and skills of students by using technology and media production processes to enhance learning processes. There were 3 forms of associating connections: 1) A pattern of initiating the networks that focus on creating knowledge and skills in learning through media production, 2) A pattern of expanding the networks to the close people by bringing the media production process and students' media to be applied in learning management and to other teachers and students in the schools, and 3) A pattern of linking the networks with person and organizations to support networks’ learning and expand them further. It is a form of applying the results of work to benefit a wider target group which needs relevant person or organizations to support.
