The Effects of Inquiry Learning Management Approach Combining with Science Teaching Strategies in the Topic of Internal Organ System on Science Learning Achievement and Attitude Towards Science of Mathayom Suksa II Students at Kraipakdeewittayakh

The purposes of this study were to 1) compare science learning achievements of Mathayom Suksa II students at Kraipakdeewittayakhom school after learning under the inquiry learning management approach combining with science teaching strategies with 75 percent criterion; and 2) compare attitude towards science of Mathayom Suksa II students at Kraipakdeewittayakhom school before and after learning by using the inquiry learning management approach combining with science teaching strategies. The research sample consisted of 23 Mathayom Suksa II students who were studying in the first semester of the academic 2019 year at Kraipakdeewittayakhom school, Si sa ket provionce, obtained from cluster random sampling. The instruments used in this study were lesson plans for the learning inquiry learning management approach science teaching strategies, a science achievement test, and a scale for assessment attitude towards science. Statistics employed for data analysis were the mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The research findings showed that 1) the science post-learning achievement of Mathayom Suksa II students, who learned by the inquiry learning management approach combining with science teaching strategies was statistically higher than the 75 percent criterion at .05 level of significance and 2) the attitude towards science of Mathayom Suksa II students, who learned by the inquiry learning management approach combining with science teaching strategies was significantly higher than their pre-learning counterpart at the .05 level of significance.
