Development of an Online Training Course on Internal Educational Assurance within Curriculum Level according to the Criteria of the Higher Education Commission for Faculty Members at Kasetsart University

Abstract

    This research had three objectives 1) to develop an online training course on internal education quality assurance at the course level for staff members in curricula of Kasetsart University according to the criteria of the Higher Education Commission, 2) to examine the results from the online training course, and 3) to determine the satisfaction of the staff members in curricula of Kasetsart University with the online training course. The study sample selected by random sampling consisted of 30 the staff members in curricula of Kasetsart University. The instruments were composed of 1) the media of the online training course, 2) pretest and posttest before and after the online training course, and 3) satisfaction evaluation form for the online training course. The data were analyzed in terms of percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and t-test.

     The research results revealed that the efficiency (E1/E2) of the online training course on internal educational quality assurance at the course level for staff members in curricula of Kasetsart University was equal to 82.53/87.07 and in line with the criteria of 85/85, 2) that the training participants had significantly (p<.05)higher average scores after than those before, and 3) that the training participants’ satisfaction with the online training course was averagely at the highest level (=4.51, S.D.=0.56)
