Learning Activities with Storyline Technique on Contemplative Education Concept to Enhance Digital Literacy in Topic “Cyberbullying” in Mathayomsuksa III Students in Mathayomprachaniwet School, Bangkok, in Academic Year 2019

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop learning activities by using storyline techniques according to the concept of contemplation education, to enhance Digital literacy in the topic of cyberbullying for Mathayomsuksa III students in Mathayomprachaniwet School, Bangkok. The research sampling was 26 students on Mathayomsuksa III by using Cluster Random Sampling Technique. Research instruments comprised of 1) Learning activity plan, 2) Learning reflection form of student learning (Individual), 3) Learning reflection form of student learning (Group), 4) Student’s behavior observation form, and 5) Test form. The research result were summarized as follows;

1) Student’s cognizance about Digital literacy in the topic of cyberbullying had an average of 16.75 and passed the criteria of research hypothesis in statistical significance at level 0.05. 
2) Students’ participation behaviors on learning activities, it was found that every learning activity had a score higher than the criteria of research hypothesis in statistical significance at level 0.05,  except the second activity which had a score lower than the criteria of research hypothesis.
3 ) According to Learning reflection form of students, it was found that students understood the impact of using social media. They knew how to check and analyze the reliability. Do not judge data without reason. They had an attitude about cyberbullying that it was not a legitimate action and they should not do themselves in the way of cyberbullying. Being careful to speak and judge others objectively without prejudice.
