The purposes of this research were 1) to compare mathematics learning achievement of Mathayomsuksa one students on Ratio, Proportion, and Percent before and after learning activity management by using think-pair-share technique with gamification approach, 2) to study mathematics learning retention of Mathayomsuksa one students on Ratio, Proportion, and Percent by using think-pair-share technique with gamification approach, and 3) to study students’ opinion related to learning management on Ratio, Proportion, and Percent by using think-pair-share technique with gamification approach.
The sample was 30 Mathayomsuksa one students of one classroom at Wat Saket School in the second semester of the academic year 2019 that was selected by cluster random sampling from 2 classrooms. The instruments in data collection consisted of 10 lesson plans on Ratio, Proportion, and Percent by using think-pair-share technique with gamification approach, 20 items with four multiple choices of the mathematics achievement tests on Ratio, Proportion, and Percent, and students’ opinion questionnaire related to learning management on Ratio, Proportion, and Percent by using think-pair-share technique with gamification approach. Percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test were used for analyzing data.
The research results showed that 1) mathematics learning achievement on Ratio, Proportion, and Percent of students after learning was higher than before learning at the .05 level of significance. 2) The result of analysis mathematics learning retention of students on Ratio, Proportion, and Percent found that the test scores of post-test and retention after two weeks were the same. And 3) almost all students agreed that the learning management on Ratio, Proportion, and Percent by using think-pair-share technique with gamification approach were appropriate.
