The Learning of Design Process through Food Design Project

Abstract

An architectural design education was aimed for students to practice the process of design from the conceptual thinking, design development until design finalization with the development of skill to produce the design works and models to express the design which all the education process has been taught and trained in the class. However, the education in theclass has not totally reflected the real-world design process which were more complex and need the individual learning experiences for self-understanding. In order to create the self- reflect the final design to the initial idea, the experiment of design education through food design project was created and able the create the learning outcome of experience in design project which the students have worked with the people from other disciplines and also able to create self-understanding of the design process from the idea to the final outcome.
