The Effect of Transformational Leadership of Teachers at the Middle Management on School Culture of Assumption College Rayong

Abstract

This study was conducted in Assumption College Rayong. The study was on the Effect of Transformational Leadership on the Culture of the school. The study was conducted with 31
teachers consisting of 2 department heads, 8 head teachers, and 21 teachers. The results indicated that head teachers teacher heads showed the level of Transformational Leadership
at the high level with Χ = 3.80. On School Culture, the study indicated that teacher heads were ready to participate in school management with the high level of Χ = 3.80 and S.D. = 0.61. In term of Professional Development, the results indicated that the head teacher showed the high level of Χ = 4.14 and S.D. = 0.37 and on the Shared Purpose, the head teachers showed the high level of Χ = 4.06 and S.D. =0.31. The study also indicated that they lacked initiatives and approach to achieve the desired goals assigned by the school. This study will be beneficial to the school leaders who wish to provide proper leadership training for the present head teachers to improve school culture conducive for change
