The Story Activity Provision to Promote the Safety Understanding on Road for Young Children

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the story activity provision to promote the safety on road of young children. Subjects used in this study consisted of 20 male and female preschool children ranging in the age between 3 and 4 years old which were studying in kindergarten level 1 in the first semester, academic year 2016 from Darakam school, Bangkok province. The instruments were twenty-four lesson plans of story activities and the test of the safety on road of young children. The obtained data was analyzed by mean, standard deviation. The descriptive data was analyzed by content analysis. The result of this study showed that the preschool children who participated in the story activity provision on the safety on road had higher posttest scores than pretest scores.
