Characteristics of Occupational Readiness of Mathayomsuksa Three Students at Attawit School, Bangkok
The objective of this research is to study the characteristics of occupational readiness of Mathayomsuksa Three Students at Attawit School, Bangkok. The population of this study consisted of 78 students of Mathayomsuksa Three Students at Attawit School, Bangkok. The research instrument was the questionnaire about the characteristics of occupational readiness. Seventy-five copies or ninety-six point two percent were returned. There are 6 kinds that personality trait and environment of occupation by Holland (1977) such as 1) Realistic 2) Investigative 3) Social 4) Conventional 5) Enterprising and 6) Artistic. The data were analyzed in terms of frequency and percentage.
The results of this study showed that the most of all students were 1) Students in Mathayomsuksa Three room two (2) Female (3) An average GPA between 3.51 – 4.00 (4) the technician is a career that they would like to be. The characteristics of occupational readiness of realistic, investigative, conventional are in low level. The characteristic of occupational readiness of social is in medium level. The characteristic of occupational readiness of enterprising is in high level. And the characteristic of occupational readiness of artistic is in medium level and high level. The overall mean of the percentage for the characteristic of occupational readiness of group 5 (Enterprising) showed is in medium level and the characteristic of occupational readiness was the first in determining it’s social aspect.
