Abstract

Opinions Towards Educational Management and Instruction in Mater of Education Program in Business Education Administration, Kasetsart University

The population in the study included the graduate students in Master of Education Program, Major in Business Education Administration, Kasetsart University holding student ID 2012-2014 for the total of 27 respondents. The data collection is done by questionnaires and interviews. Data from questionnaire were analyzed by a statistical program. The statistical methods used are frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Data from the interviews were analyzed by conclude data conclusion and through content analysis method.

The result of the research found that the opinions of the respondents regarding educational management; ‘reputation’ and ‘marketing’ aspects were in the ‘highest level’ and 1st ranked, the 2nd ranked aspect belong to ‘content of the curriculum’ which was in the ‘high level’, the 3rd ranked aspect was ‘location’ rated at ‘high level’, and the 4th ranked aspect was ‘pricing’ rated at ‘intermediate level’. The respondents viewed ‘lecturers’ and ‘instructional process’ as strengths of the program (1st ranked) while ‘instructional support’ was in ‘intermediate level’ (2nd ranked). Data from interviews indicated that students realized the curriculum content was up-to-date, interesting, cleared, and useful. Students could be able to apply in works and everyday life. Students perceived that unconditioned instructional media were obstacles of the instructional effectiveness in this program.
