Comparison of Learning Achievement between Mathayomsuksa 1 Students with Difference Game Playing Behaviors Learning via Educational Multimedia Game
The purpose of this research was to compare the learning achievement via educational multimedia game between three groups of Mathayomsuksa 1 students divided by game playing behavior: normal, game crazy, and game addicted.
The subject was 96 Mathayomsuksa 1 students. There were 30 students in Normal group, 34 students in Game Crazy group, and 32 students in Game Addicted group. The research instruments were educational multimedia game, game addiction screening test; child version, pre-test, and post-test. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and One-way ANOVA.
Results of the study indicated there were statistically significant differences between groups of the subject at .05 level. Learning achievement of the Normal group was the highest, and the Game Crazy group was higher than the Game Addicted group.
