Abstract

Counseling Service of Bachelor Degree Student Advisors in Problem Solutions for Business and Computer Education Students, Vocational Education Department, Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University

The research objective was to study students’ problem and student advisors’ suggestions of students who were studying in Business and Computer Education Major under Faculty of Education, Kasetsart University in 3 aspects, including 1) studying performance, 2) behaviours and lifeSkills, and 3) family Economics. Research Population were 18 bachelor degree students who were studying in Business and Computer Education Major that were consultant by head of research project (Methinee Wongwanich Rumpagaporn). Research instrument was the record form of students’ problems and the methods to solve students’ problems. Data were analysed by Frequency (Students’ Background) and Content analysis (Record of problems and methods to solve problems). Research finding results were found that most students got GPA between 3.00-3.49 and the General Accounting Subject was withdraw by students at high rate. There were 3 important students’ problems that comprised of 1) studying performance, 2) behaviours and life Skills, and 3) family Economics. The guidelines to solve students’ problems were suggested that students needed to apply Buddha’s Teaching (4 Steps Secret in Studying and working) to achieve the studying goal and students needed to apply the Contemplative Education Concept to students’ Practices in wellbeing human. In addition, students ought to apply PDCA (Plan Do Check Action) process in financial management in students’ family.
