Abstract

Competencies and Needed Competencies for ASEAN Community Preparation of Business Teachers in Mubankru Technological College in Bangkok under Office of the Private Education Commission

The purpose of this research was to study competencies and needed competencies for ASEAN Community preparation of business teachers at Mubankru Technological College in Bangkok under Office of the Private Education Commission. This research aimed to describe in three parts which were 1) Knowledge 2) Skill 3) Appropriate Attitude and Value. This collecting data instruments were questionnaire and interview. Quantitative data were analysed by using statistical analysis, Frequency and Percentage and qualitative data were analysed by using Content Analysis.

The research findings were 1) in term of knowledge competency levels, they also the mostly as moderate in the competency and the most to high level in a needed competencies 2) In term of skill competency levels, they also the most high level and the most to highest rating scale in the needed competencies  Furthermore, appropriate attitude and value competency levels the most have rated as high level and the most have highest rating scale in the needed competencies.
