Abstract

Development of Learning Activities based on Student-Centered Instruction by Using Cooperative Learning to Strengthen Teamwork Skills in Career and Technology Substance (Occupation I) in Mathayom 1, DonmuangThaharnagardbamroong School in Bangkok

The research objective aimed to develop learning activities that emphasized on student – centered instruction by using cooperative learning to strengthen students’ teamwork skills in career and technology substance (occupation), in Matthayom 1, Donmuang-Taharnargardbumrung School in Bangkok.

The research population were Matthayom1/12 students in Donmuang-Taharngardbumroong School in Bangkok, Semester 1 in academic year 2014. There were consisted of 33 students. The research instruments were 1) Lesson Plan 2) Working Group Assessment Form 3) Group Behavior Observation Form 4) Task Assessment Form 5) Oral Presentation Assessment Form, and 6) Teamwork Learning Reflection Form. Quantitative data were analyzed by using Percentage (%) and qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis.

Research results were concluded that cooperative learning effected to students’ team work, roles and responsibilities, and students’ achievements with efficiency.  In conclusion, cooperative learning could be used to strengthen students’ teamwork skills.
