The Effects of Stem Education Activity Provision for Early Childhood on Problem Solving Thinking Ability
The purpose of this study was to study the ability of problem solving thinking of preschool children by using the STEM education activity provision. The target group in this study included 22 male and female children ages of 4-5 years old who were studying in kindergarten 2 the 2nd Semester, 2015 of Watmonthonprasit School. (Attawatprachanukul) under the Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 (PEASO).
The instruments used in the study included 24 STEM activity provision plans, the problem-solving thinking interview forms which included 10 situations. The data was analyzed by mean and Standard deviation. The results showed that young children who received STEM activity provision had higher solving thinking skill than those who did hot receive STEM activity provision pre-test.
